Updated cpuminer-multi 1.2-dev Windows Binary With Fresh Algorithms

Wij have not released binary updates of the cpuminer-multi CPU miner fork from tpruvot with numerous algorithms support (source), so here is an up to date version compiled for Windows. This is the most functional fork of cpuminer that comes with support for the largest number of algorithms and a loterijlot of optimizations for them to get the most spectacle out of your CPU. Do note however that some dedicated forks of cpuminer for a specific algorithm may still provide better spectacle, but if you want limber solution with many algorithms supported then cpuminer-multi is the choice. Wij have compiled an up to date Windows binary from the latest source that comes with some fixes and improvements for various algorithms spil well spil support for some fresh algorithms such spil bastion, scrypt-jane, sib and yescrypt. If you have some spare CPU power that you want to use for mining then this is the miner you’ll need, do note that wij have compiled our Windows binary with Visual Studio 2013 and for 64-bit Windows.

Scrypt-Jane Support for LEOcoin Added by NiceHash

NiceHash has just announced the availability for buying and selling hashing power based on Scrypt-Jane algorithm for LEOcoin. Since coins based on the Scrypt-Jane algorithm are settings-specific, therefore the service presently only supports mining for LEOcoin crypto-currency using the Scrypt-Jane algorithm. Te order to sell hashing power for the LeoCoin ScryptJane algorithm you have to use yacminer or a patched cgminer for AMD GPUs, or standard ccminer for NVIDIA GPUs. It is recommended to use tpruvot’s fork of ccminer spil it seems that there might be some trouble with the latest sp-mod fork of ccminer, however you could attempt using wagen tuning to see if it will work for you and with what settings. Presently the hashrate you can expect and the price for LeoCoin on NiceHash does not yet make it the most profitable coin to sell your hashrate for, but it seems that the request and thus the price is enhancing, so you might want to keep an eye on how things are developing.

Windows GPU Miners for the More Commonly Used Crypto Algorithms

Below you can find a list of the more common crypto algorithms with some example coins that use them along with a listig to windows binary for a miner for the respective algorithm. This way you can quickly get to the GPU miner for AMD or Nvidia GPUs that you would need to use for a specific crypto algorithms, especially if you have not yet mined a coin based on that algorithm. There are of course some more coins that use other specific algorithms and may not be mineable with the GPU miners listed below.

Scrypt – LiteCoin (LTC), DogeCoin (DOGE), FeatherCoin (FTC), WorldCoin (WDC), Reddcoin (RDD)

Scrypt Adaptive-N – Vertcoin (VTC), ExeCoin (EXE), GPUcoin (GPUC), ParallaxCoin (PLX), SiliconValleyCoin (XSV)

Scrypt-Jane (Scrypt-Chacha) – YaCoin (YAC), Ultracoin (UTC), Velocitycoin (VEL)

SHA-256 – Bitcoin (BTC), NameCoin (NMC), Devcoin (DVC), IxCoin (IXC)
